April 2025: The start of building our kitchen, bathhouse, and our family.

How we began…

Before there was land, livestock, or even a plan… there was a van.

We met on the road, living the vanlife dream and traveling from California to Florida — figuring out what kind of life we actually wanted to build. Somewhere between desert sunrises and roadside dinners, we realized we didn’t just want freedom—we wanted roots.

So, we did something a little wild.

We bought a piece of raw land near the Grand Canyon with more determination than resources—no infrastructure, no roadmap, and not even a credit score between us. Just a vision, a lot of trial and error, and a willingness to figure things out the hard way.

Dingleberry Farms was built from the ground up—literally. Long days, steep learning curves, and a whole lot of “we’ll make it work” turned into a growing homestead rooted in self-sufficiency, curiosity, and hands-on living.

And then, at the end of last year, we welcomed our first child into it all—right into the middle of the chaos, the growth, and the dream we’ve been building from scratch.

And yes—the name.

We didn’t want something polished or forgettable. We wanted something you’d remember, something that made people smile (or at least do a double take). “Dingleberry Farms” felt like us: a little unconventional, a little scrappy, and a little not taking ourselves too seriously—while still being deeply committed to what we do.

We’re building this homestead for our family, for our community, and for anyone who’s ever thought about doing things differently… even if it means starting with a dingleberry!
